Chocolate candy is the perfect gift to give family, friends and loved ones for their birthdays, anniversaries, mothers day, Easter, Valentines Day, Halloween, get well or I am sorry. Chocolate candy makes a perfect gift during the Holidays for Christmas, Thanksgiving, or Hanukkah. In addition, to the delicious candy inside, the packaging of chocolate is often overlooked but is essential for a great gift.
You can enhance chocolate as a gift by buying the right box or container. There are all kinds of chocolates available from the cheapest dine store variety to the more expensive gourmet kinds. Everyone has his or her favorite kind of chocolate so do your research. There are so many kinds to choose from. You do not have to buy a real expensive chocolate. Instead, you can make it special by picking a pretty wrapper box or bow to accentuate the candy treasure locked inside. There is nothing better than an M and M candy for quality, taste, and price. Think about how wonderful a bag emptied in an inexpensive fish bowl would look like.
Another idea is to buy a cheap bag of malted milk balls, wrap them in colored foil so that they look like a baseball or basketball. You can fill a plastic cap with the candies for a one of a kind candy treat. Children and adults alike will love it.
You can buy small chocolate candies and fill a dog or cat dish as a unique gift for the animal lover on your list. You can wrap the whole gift in colored cellophane for that professional look. When they are done with the candy, they can use the bowl for there pet as an added bonus.
Another creative chocolate creation is to buy chocolate covered fruits. You can find chocolate covered fruit peels, chocolate covered cherries, or raspberries. Mix them together in a bowl and again cover it with colored cellophane. Put a label on it that reads chocolate fruit salad. When they are down eating and sharing the chocolate, they can make a real fruit salad in the bowl that remains. Every time they use the bowl, they will be reminded of the gift and your creative genius.
Baskets filled with chocolates are a fun gift idea. You can make a relatively inexpensive chocolate fondue basket. You can fill it with chocolate to be melted, a candle, a fondue bowl, fondue forks, fruit, and even some home made pound cake.
During the holidays, everyone likes to warm up with a cup of hot chocolate after placing outside in the snow. How about a hot chocolate basket? It can include hot chocolate mix, marshmallows, and mugs.
How about those outdoor lovers? During the summer, a smores basket can be fun. Add chocolate bars, graham crackers, and marshmallows. All that would be left is an invitation to join them. The great thing about baskets is that they are fun to decorate and they can be used after the contents have been used up.
Do not forget our love on Valentines Day. Nothing says I love you like chocolate. Think of creative ways to dress up the traditional heart shaped box with glitter bows and maybe some jewelry.
