How to Avoid Stretch Marks?
Additional name for it is striae marks and there are lots of reasons for stretch or striae marks - pregnancy, the rapid weight loss or gain, and natural growth in teenagers. You might be surprised to know that those that have depression tendencies are more expected to have stretch marks. Lack of proper nutrients that can cause stress marks, along with alterations in your environmental or physical conditions. Intake of medicines can cause scars. So you see, they're not all about pregnancy. Our body has two areas susceptible to stretch marks appearances: the stomach and breast area commonly develop is the source of these marks as a result of pregnancy because of the sudden weight gain. Due to the process of breasts swelling and the enlargement of belly - the skin stretches rapidly and is not able to properly develop. Usually, you'll find scars developing on areas with excess of fat deposition such as the breasts, stomach, upper arms, and thighs. Stretch marks appear when the brain sends the wrong orders to the skin and as a result, insufficient amounts of elastin and collagen are developed. Elastin and collagen plays an important role and serve as the connective tissue of the skin, also when the connective tissue breaks apart. When this happens, the result is stretch skin marks. Not only woman suffer from stretch or striae marks. Men and women develop them irrespective of their body type (fat or thin), age (young or old), and it doesn't matter where you live or what your ethnic background is. They can strike anybody. Stretch marks are not on the skin's surface. They come from deep within the skin's tissue and sooner or later make their way to the skin. Some say that they might seem to come into view almost while you sleep, but that's in truth not the case. How to get rid of them one may ask. The best defense is to stick to products that are designed to treat stretch lines and marks. Vitamin E is crucial element which helps to reduce the appearance of these skin marks. Additional moisturizing also reduces their appearance. There are many over the counter products which are fighting or preventing the appearance of skin stretch lines and laser therapy is another option. As we have already mentioned staying well hydrated (which is good advice anyway) by drinking several glass of water is the best way to avoid stretch marks, as this will help keep the skin soft and supple. Other recommendations for pregnant include the necessity to wear proper supportive garments that are designed for pregnant ladies and fitted to your body shape. This is a bit more expensive than cheaper generic maternal wear, but your body will thank you in the long run. -->
