Yeast Infection Of The Chin Possible Or Not
Yeast grows best in warm moist environments. Yeast prefers growing in darkness, but given the right conditions will grow in light. What Conditions Encourage A Yeast Infection On The Chin? Most of the time yeast doesn't have a chance to develop a yeast infection on the chin or anywhere else on our skin. That's because protective bacteria on our skin and in our bodies guard against yeast taking over and causing a yeast infection on the chin. That protective bacteria and the skin's ability to keep harmful yeast and bacteria outside our body is our first line of defense against yeast infections and bacterial infections. But when the protective bacteria is eliminated or greatly diminished on our skin the odds of having a yeast infection increase. The protective bacteria can be eliminated and the skin scraped so it cannot protect in several ways: Antibiotic Use For Infections Overuse Of Antibacterial Or Deodorant Soaps Overly Vigorous Scrubbing Or Exfoliation Of The Facial Skin With some disease states it is more common to get a yeast infection on the chin. Diabetics, obese people, those with HIV, elderly people with poor nutritional habits or those with existing yeast infections are at higher risk of getting a yeast infection on the chin. Break the barrier of the skin with a cut or abrasion, eliminate or decrease the protective bacteria on the skin, and you open the door to the potential yeast infection on the chin. How can you decrease the risk? Care for your facial skin with gentleness, practice good personal hygiene, and use good health habits. That way you can minimize your chances of getting a yeast infection on the chin. -->
