They generally also help in cleaning up and do not just leave it to the person who is throwing the party.
The people here are very friendly and have strong family values and customs. They are very considerate about others and are very helpful. While on a trip abroad, it is good manners to take back some gifts (referred to as makana or omiyage) for your near and dear ones.

They give a lot of importance to other fellow human beings. It is a society that is based on family values, traditions and customs and this is reflected in their day to day lives as well.
