Couples often find it difficult to decide if they need to hire a wedding planner or not. There is no doubt that planning a wedding is time consuming and stressful. In order to make your wedding a success, you need to make tremendous amount of decisions. You will also need to stand all the stress from your friends and relatives who give you "advices" on your wedding. Below are some of the issues you need to consider when you plan your wedding.
Church wedding or civil wedding
The first thing you need to consider when you decide to get married is whether you will have a church wedding or a civil wedding. If you choose the former, you will need to deal with the church officials and it can be very time consuming. Besides, there are a lot of details you will need to go through. Besides the wardrobe, the seats, the flowers and the flower girls, you will also have to plan for the rehearsals.

Another thing you need to think about is the wedding invitations. You will need to calculate and estimate the number of guests to be invited. You will certainly need to take photos in your wedding. I have never attended a wedding without a wedding photographer. Indeed it is not an easy task to seek for the right photographer. Different photographers provides different styles of photos. There are also cases that the wedding photos are all in a mess because a proper wedding photographer is not hired. You may even need to take videos in your wedding and this comes to another difficult task to seek for the right vendor to help.
Wedding Dresses and Jewellery
Most brides share the same point of view that it is difficult to find the suitable gown. You will need to consider your body shape, skin color, hair style and so on in order to get the most suitable gown. You will need to consider the jewellery too. Getting a perfect match of gown and jewellery that suits you is extremely difficult.
Reception
For your reception, you firstly need to consider the venue. You have to choose a venue with a size that matches the number of guests to be invited. As in the case of wedding photographer, different venues deliver different atmospheres. The decorations can also be a difficult task. After you have settled the venue, you will start to think of the caterer. You may need to approach caterer to caterer in order to choose the best one to serve your guests.
The above are in fact some of the issues you will need to consider. Other items such as wedding favors and transportation have not been mentioned yet. If you can afford the time to consider all of them and make the right decisions, a wedding planner may not be really necessary. On the contrary, if you are already busy at work and cannot afford the time and effort, a wedding planner can really help. The wedding planner does not only help you to save time but also help you to save money in some cases.
